DAY 8: POSITIVE CONFESSION

There was this video that people shared online after the demise of the Late Governor of Ondo State in which he said the current Governor is lucky and will eventually complete the tenure. Apart from that, he said, ‘I will go down, and he will go up.’ Could that be a joke? Though I am of the opinion that the video was twisted somehow or what exactly did you think was intended in that video? But we can learn a lesson from that, though it’s a coincidence. There is power your tongue. Power of death and life is in the tongue.

Words are seeds and when they are sown, its difficult to retrieve them. They will grow and bear fruit which the speaker will have to eat the fruit. In your moment of pain, discouragement and anguish, watch what you say about your situations and life. In your moment of fear and disillusion be careful of careless words. In your moment of joy and excitement be very careful of vain words.

Words are watched over by spirits, and they ensure that they are established. Words don’t die, they keep flying around till they become reality. Even God respects your words and opinions. When you say things that does not align with His counsel, He allows the events to turn out the way you have said.

God created things by His word, you are in position also to create the things you want to see by your words. Stop speaking failure, sickness, disease and lack. Stop creating a bad Nigeria with your word. Whatever you say repeatedly will be reinforced in your life. Most prayers are not answered because what you say in the place of prayer contradict what you say in your daily walk.

Look at this;
For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he siath shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23

Did you see this? “… he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

You shall have whatsoever you say! This is just too dangerous. It’s a two-edged sword. The Bible does not care about the content of those words, whether positive or negative; you will have whatesoever you say.

Today, be conscious of what you are saying. Make sure it is in alignment with God’s promises and His will. Speak positively about your situations and our nation.

Remember, You will have what you say.
